The Project –  A few Volunteers have been working for a number of years on collating a data base of BB Companies. This project is still some way off, due to the numbers and complexity of the project. The BLB project is smaller and a little easier as the time period is much smaller, however in 1911 the BLB suffered a fire at their headquarters in London, and a lot of the records and paperwork was destroyed. At the Union, the Boys Brigade did not actively keep the remaining BLB records, and we are having to piece the story together from other sources.

We believe there were over 771 enrolled BLB Companies between the period 1898 and the Union in 1926, and have managed to list 580 on the Virtual Museum. If you have any information to help us complete the list, please get in touch. It would be a fitting tribute to the BLB if we were able to have a complete record of every BLB Company listed on the Virtual Museum.
