Cox E – 1906

BB Gazette Vol.15 No.2 – At the recent Meeting of Brigade Executive at Nottingham a number of Applications for the Brigade Cross for Heroism were laid before the Executive, and after due consideration the Cross was awarded… to Lance-Corporal Edward Cox (aged 17), 1st Worcester Company, for saving a little girl from drowning in the River Severn, on 18th August, 1906. This is the third life that Cox has saved from drowning.
