In 1923 The Boys’ Brigade Executive authorised the publication of a small book, entitled “Heroes of The Boys’ Brigade, Officers and Old Boys who won The Victoria Cross in The Great War, 1914-19”

In 2017 the Boys’ Brigade Archive Trust updated and reprinted this book to mark the centenary of the end of World War 1. The updated version followed the format of the original 1923 version, adding the Victoria Cross winner from the Second Boer War, the four winners of the Victoria Cross from the Second World War, and one additional Victoria Cross winner which was not mentioned in the original publication or The Boys’ Brigade Gazette.

This book was available as a free download for BB Companies to use as a resource when marking the centenary of the end of World War 1.
