The Boys’ Brigade archive collection contains a widely diverse rage of items, including badge and medals, photographs and albums, uniform and clothing, colours and flags, records and paperwork, and film and audio in various media format.

We are always looking to add to our collection, and are particulalry interested in Photographs, documents and letters, records and minute books. If you have any material please contact us for further information about how this can be added to our archive collection.

When sending in photographs, please ensure that as much information as possible is included with each image, and when sending in collections of personal items, please try include the story of the owner, as we prefer items which have personal stories and memories associated with them, ensuring we can preserve these stories for future generations.

We are also actively seeing to improve our collection of Company and Battalion material. Any Companies or Battalions which are closing or merging are encouraged to contact us to discuss options for the preservation of the records and information being held by these groups. We are also interested in contemporary material ‘born’ digitally, please contact us for information about how to contribute digital material.

We also rely on the financial support of the public and ex-members to continue the preservation, collection, and digitisation work which provides the essential material for the Virtual Museum and our social medial activities. Please consider a one off financial donation, or becoming a regular financial supporter.
